Harriet, We Hardly Knew Ye...

Until You Opened Your Mouth, Then We No Longer Wanted To...

RE: THE CHARLES K OPTION [Kathryn Jean Lopez]
"Well, Schumer's not buying: In a gaggle off the Senate floor minutes ago, Schumer said the document reason given for Miers's withdrawal is a "red herring" and that "no one" called for her to back out except "these groups" on the extreme far right..."

The very same Schumer, who three days ago said that she was unqualified and didn't have the votes, whose hubris in speaking for Republicans as well as Democrats fed fuel to the paean of Harriet-Must-Go. Does this man have ANY moral fiber? Any at all? Just a schmidgeon, ya think? Nah.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT PRESIDENT BUSH [Kathryn Jean Lopez]
"You know what the relief is this morning? A return to the feeling that this president gets the big things right. There was a detour, but I’m confident we’re going to have good news shortly on SCOTUS, because this president tends to get the big things right. That’s the confidence so many of us have always had in him. And we may have been worried about our assessment for a few weeks there, but there's a renewed confidence this morning."

LMAO. Oh Kathryn, you lovable little ostrich you, he shoots from the hip right up until the point in time when someone reminds him to take better aim, and THAT makes you feel better? That when left to his OWN resources he fucks things up? This is NOT rocket science and her nomination was a peek into the man. A man that shouldn't choose his own necktie without help, but yes, a man who when reality is brought before him can tell it from abject bullshit. I have three words for you, and it pains me to identify someone with more than two names, but nonetheless:

JANICE ROGERS BROWN
