Time Now For The Mainichi Daily News...

Movie using computer-controlled smells hits theaters in Tokyo and Osaka

Back in the dark ages, there was a motion picture titled The Tingler, and select movie houses rigged vibrating seats to turn on at various points in the films progress. For some strange reason, the women rather enjoyed the quivering seats and became less rather than more fearful. Go figure.

Computer controlled odors will be difficult in that one fragrance atop another might prove impossible to differentiate as the sense of smell becomes overwhelmed.

Whatever. The Japanese in particular will love it.
