Shotshell Shenanigans

From Federal. Black Cloud FlightStopper shot, soon to be on the shelves of your local sporting goods emporium.

Since I spend the day wondering who I can bug the hell out of next, communication between ammunition manufacturers and myself is an ongoing affair. Since round balls have been used for hundreds of years, one would think there'd be an innovative, or even a not-so-innovative design cropping up now and again. The credo of shotshell makers revolves around the premise that ANY shot delivered from a 12 gauge is more then lethal enough for self defense weaponry, but the real money comes from making those duck hunters swoon.

Fascinate the Fudds then call for an armored car to haul away the cash.

I've no word yet on the velocity or range of these interesting looking pellets, but imagine, just imagine something like this available in 00 Buck. Might be just the ticket for close encounters of the dirtbag kind. Might even enable one to go with a smaller shot size if the pellet is one penetrating sumbitch.
