"Freedoms Carry Responsibilities And Limits"

"But with these freedoms come responsibility and limits. We can’t shout “fire” in a theater without facing consequences and we cannot say untruthful and damaging things about other citizens without facing potential liabilities. In addition, although we have a right to bear arms, there are limits to what we can do with the weapons we own."

The above was featured at the RKBA site. The below was a comment to this lunatics ranting.

"We can’t shout “fire” in a theater without facing consequences and we cannot say untruthful and damaging things about other citizens without facing potential liabilities."
Yep, and it would be a violation of individual rights to require every one to be muzzled to avoid such unauthorized exercise of free speech.
Gun owners realize the potential consequences and liabilities for using a firearm in defense of life. All we ask is for the freedom to enjoy the second amendment without prior restraint."

I'm pleased to see what some of us have been saying for years in defense of the unadulterated stupidity regarding the fire in a crowded theater canard, has finally been paid enough attention to so that the anti's same-old, lame-old, lies can be be shot down without all that much heavy lifting.

Whenever someone mentions fire, and crowded theater in the same sentence, some things are for certain: He or she is quoting from the Brady Bible and haven't the foggiest as to what in the hell they're talking about.

For once and for all...

There cannot be prior restraint to a RIGHT.
