Why Poodle Shooters Aren't Working Well In The Sandbox

One of the reasons 5.56 mm isn't working on "Malnourished Middle Eastern Males"

(Caution: PDF file)

Basically, it was only a matter of time before 5.56 mm apologists came up with a reason, any reason will do, to explain why you have to dump half a mag into the average raghead just to get his attention.

Gangs behind up to 80% of U.S. crime

"Criminal gangs in the USA have swelled to an estimated 1 million members responsible for up to 80% of crimes in communities across the nation, according to a gang threat assessment compiled by federal officials.

The major findings in a report by the Justice Department's National Gang Intelligence Center, which has not been publicly released, conclude gangs are the "primary retail-level distributors of most illicit drugs" and several are "capable" of competing with major U.S.-based Mexican drug-trafficking organizations.

"A rising number of U.S.-based gangs are seemingly intent on developing working relationships" with U.S. and foreign drug-trafficking organizations and other criminal groups to "gain direct access to foreign sources of illicit drugs," the report concludes.

The gang population estimate is up 200,000 since 2005.

Bruce Ferrell, chairman of the Midwest Gang Investigators Association, whose group monitors gang activity in 10 states, says the number of gang members may be even higher than the report's estimate"

Well is it any wonder?

Anyone old enough to remember the cop on the beat is familiar with the no-nonsense approach to maintaining order that was all the rage for thousands of years, up until police commissioners and crooked politicians realized that turning cops into de facto tax collectors was a really really good way to make money. Problem is, while Flat Foot Franky is hiding behind that billboard, Gang Banger Billy is ruling the streets.

And the first one to recollect ANY time that cops raided Gang headquarters the way they raid grandmothers, please raise your hand and tell the class where you've seen such a wonder.

Bad boys, bad boys, what ya gonna do,

What ya gonna do when they RUN from you

Ann Coulter On The Joy Of Liberal Victimhood

"...I don't know a single conservative who thought America wouldn't elect a black man.

If Republicans had run Colin Powell in 1996 -- back when he was a Republican -- he would have been the first black president. As Powell himself said, he received the strongest support from Southern white men, who admired his military background.

The first serious black candidate to run for president in America won, so blacks are one-for-one in a country liberals would have us believe is teeming with Ku Klux Klanners.

Throughout Obama's entire life, doors were opened for him, his college applications smiled upon and favors bestowed simply because he is black -- the original victim category in America. Being black is the highest victim caste because of blacks' authentic victimhood: The nation once tolerated slavery and Jim Crow.

But ironically, Obama's father is from Africa: He never suffered from the ancient policies that, today, give his son Victim Gold. To the contrary, if Obama's African relatives had anything to do with slavery, it was on the business end."

Now show me ONE, just one other talking head with the stones to tell it like it is the way Ann Coulter does.

But I tell you who the real victims are going to be this time around, and that's us. The libs wouldn't care a lick if Jughead sold the country to Iran, they're simply too much in love with the guy who has never done anything worth writing home about and probably never will. Unless you'd call setting America back a decade or three to be laudable.

He's the enemy from within and I'll say it again; anyone calling him or herself a Conservative while at the same time wishing him well is part of the problem and decidedly anti-Conservative.

All You Need To Know About Global Warming

"Global Warming. It is the hoax. It is bad science. It is a highjacking of public policy. It is no joke. It is the greatest scam in history.

The last two bitter winters have lead to a rise in public awareness that CO2 is not a pollutant and is not a significant greenhouse gas that is triggering runaway global warming.

How did we ever get to this point where bad science is driving big government we have to struggle so to stop it?"

So I'm on Interstate 75 early this AM, driving through a horrendous storm. Made my way over to the far left lane to get out of the truck-wake which had rendered the road ahead virtually invisible, and vaguely saw a car approaching from the rear.

Coming up rather fast, not hell bent, but fast enough. Gainesville and its environs have switched to stealth police cars...no light bars, etc. to give 'em away...and it of course has done far more harm than good as the constabulary must resort to full frontal sirens to clear traffic if they truly need to warp factor nine their asses to a smoking wreck.

Hard to tell for sure, visibility was nil but it sort of might have been a cop car so I give it the gun and moved back into the center lane.

Yep. Sure was. He floors it, then slows a tick while passing. Turns on the siren in a short woop-woop and waves a thank-you. Since I bitch and moan when they act like jerkoffs, its only fair to report back when one of them remembers the social contract and extends a courtesy.

Oh yeah, before I forget. Mile or so up the road there was one bodacious bumper car battle so he wasn't just hot footing it to Dunkins.

Boys With Unusual Names More Likely to Break Law

Boys in the United States with common names like Michael and David are less likely to commit crimes than those named Ernest or Ivan.

David E. Kalist and Daniel Y. Lee of Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania compared the first names of male juvenile delinquents to the first names of male juveniles in the population.

The researchers constructed a popularity-name index (PNI) for each name. For example, the PNI for Michael is 100, the most frequently given name during the period.

The PNI for David is 50, a name given half as frequently as Michael. The PNI is approximately 1 for names such as Alec, Ernest, Ivan, Kareem, and Malcolm.

Results show that, regardless of race, juveniles with unpopular names are more likely to engage in criminal activity. The least popular names were associated with juvenile delinquency among both blacks and whites.

"Transportation officials in Texas are scrambling to prevent hackers from changing messages on digital road signs after one sign in Austin was altered to read, "Zombies Ahead."

Chris Lippincott, director of media relations for the Texas Department of Transportation, confirmed that a portable traffic sign at Lamar Boulevard and West 15th Street, near the University of Texas at Austin, was hacked into during the early hours of Jan. 19.

"It was clever, kind of cute, but not what it was intended for," said Lippincott, who saw the sign during his morning commute. "Those signs are deployed for a reason — to improve traffic conditions, let folks know there's a road closure."

Was looking for decent pics of the new Miss America and lo and behold Woody had a damned good one.

Katie Stam from Indiana and as God is my judge I've finally seen the brunette equivalent of Lisa.

More From The Cute & Cuddly 3rd World Amongst US

Wouldn't let her sleep, so she shot him

"A Monroe woman, who said she was angry because her boyfriend wouldn't let her sleep, shot him with a small-caliber handgun, according to an arrest affidavit.

Charged with aggravated battery was Roshonda Anding, 21, of 3002 Burg Jones Lane. She remained in Ouachita Correctional Center on Saturday afternoon with no bond set.

The arrest affidavit said Ouachita deputies found the victim in his car at the intersection of Beverly Street and Morton early Saturday. The victim had been shot once in the hip, and was taken to LSU Medical Center.

Deputies said they encountered the suspect walking in the vicinity of the shooting scene. The affidavit said Anding led authorities to the handgun, which she had thrown into a culvert.

"Anding was cooperative," the affidavit said, and "only stated that she shot (the victim) because he was bothering her and wouldn't let her sleep."

At least Roshanda spoke some semblance of English. Maybe. Being somewhat new to the "can-you-top-this" litany of imbecilic surnames created by those not content with acting and looking thick-witted, but wish to be known as such right from the get-go by a startling moniker, I really can't tell if what they belch out truly is English.

"Roshanda" certainly is not. But some discarded the "melting pot" idea long ago in favor of worlds within worlds. Just because history teaches us that it never works is no reason to shake one's head at such goings on. Wait long enough and they'll do something even sillier.

Like not using enough gun to finish off a persistent boyfriend.

David Koresh's Mother Fatally Stabbed

HOUSTON — The mother of infamous Branch Davidian sect leader David Koresh has been stabbed to death, and Koresh's aunt was in custody on a murder charge Saturday.

Bonnie Clark Halderman, 60, was found Friday afternoon at the home of her sister, Beverly Clark, in a rural area near Chandler, Henderson County Sheriff Ray Nutt said. Chandler is about 175 miles north of Houston.

In 1993, agents of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms tried to arrest Koresh for allegedly stockpiling weapons and explosives at the Branch Davidians' ranch compound outside Waco.

The confrontation led to a 51-day standoff that ended when the complex caught fire and burned to the ground on April 19, 1993, killing Koresh and nearly 80 of his followers.

About two dozen children were among the victims.

The government claimed the Davidians committed suicide by setting the fire and shooting themselves. Survivors said the blaze was started by tear gas rounds fired into the compound. A 10-month independent investigation concluded in 2000 that Koresh was solely to blame, but may have been aided by travelers from another planet, as numerous sightings of UFO's were reported at that place and time. It was further speculated that his may have also explained the origin of former Attorney General Janet Reno.

Rude Awakening At Wake

2 shot dead, 7 hurt at Wichita, Kan., wake

WICHITA, Kan. — "Police say two people were killed and seven wounded in a shooting during a wake at a house in Wichita.

Sgt. Ronald Hunt says all the victims of Saturday night's shooting were adults. He did not know their ages or genders.

Hunt says one victim is in critical condition, while as many as four others are in serious condition.

Police say the shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. on the ninth day of the wake, which was being held for an elderly woman buried earlier Saturday.

Deputy Police Chief Robert Lee could not say how many shooters were involved but says some of the shots came from outside. Police won't say if they believe the shooting is gang-related.

Officers had trouble communicating because many of those at the house did not speak English."

Gee willickers, but what language DID they speak?

Let's see now; Russian? Scandinavian? German? French? Portuguese? Italian? No, definitely not Italian or they'd have had enough guns of their own to shoot back with and waste these gangbanging sons a' bitches.

Dammitall but I'm at a loss here. I mean, what group of people come to America and don't learn the language?? How could they get jobs and drivers licenses and important ass stuff such as medical services? What family leader would allow his or her charges to become so very vulnerable?

Why, without handouts from the government they'd dry up and blow away. Enough folks try to live that way, and the U.S. might as well have remained a colony of those socialist Euro fella's.

Seriously now, and I mean it; who goes to live in a place where they can't communicate then doesn't even try to learn??????????????

Rooting For Obama...

...Himself the root of a heckuva lot of evil.

I am not now, nor will I ever root for this stuttering imbecile. He stands for everything I despise and is a blame-America-first traitor of the highest order. If Obama succeeds that means America itself loses something. Do I want our enemies to go free? Our borders opened for every criminal with a healthy pair of legs and a backpack? Our 1st and 2nd Amendment Rights lost to a party that brooks no dissension nor wishes any man to experience true freedom?

Of course not. I don't root for the enemy. If he wins then we lose, simple as that. And isn't it hilarious that his handlers are giving him silly speeches with which to bash Rush Limbaugh. Since Obama himself hasn't even the inkling of wit to engage in anything remotely resembling a scintillating debate, this might very well prove to be an ongoing laugh riot as Rush attacks and Obo awaits word on what to say in riposte. The smart money says that the Obo-Express gets derailed in record time and come 2010...2012 at the latest...the nation becomes so disgusted with his socialism at any cost that he goes down in flames, taking democrat majorities along with him.

The silver lining to an otherwise dreadful affair.

Ballistic Baloney

"Seven years ago, New York started a database of "ballistic fingerprints" for all new handguns sold in the state. The bill's backers sold it as a crime-solving device, arguing that the state would now have a sample of a spent shell and bullet for every new gun sold. This, they said, would help police connect future evidence from crime scenes to specific guns.

Since then, the authorities have entered 200,000 newly purchased guns into the database and spent $1 million dollars a year on the system. Yet it hasn't led to a single solved crime. The only other state with such a database, Maryland, can attribute at least one conviction to the system since it was created in 2000-more than zero, but few enough that the state's own Police Forensics Division has suggested scrapping the program because of its demonstrated lack of benefits.

This hasn't come as a surprise to gun rights activists, who pointed to several potential problems when the databases were originally debated. Among them: The markings left by a gun are not guaranteed to be the same over the long term and can be deliberately changed with simple expedients such as filing inside the barrel; the vast majority of guns used in crimes are stolen or otherwise obtained in a black market, not used by their original legal owner; devoting so much record keeping to every gun sold guarantees wasted effort, since less than 1 percent of all guns sold will ever be used in a crime.

In 2003 a report from the California Attorney General's Office recommended against launching such a program because of its likely ineffectiveness in crime solving. And a March 2008 study from the National Research Council recommended against a national version of the New York and Maryland databases. In addition to noting the obvious ways in which such a program could be easily circumvented by criminals, the study said the theory behind the ballistics databases—that every gun marks shells and bullets in specific, stable, identifiable ways—has not been scientifically proven."

Think that bothers the political loons?

Not a chance. Their response is ALWAYS something along the lines of, "well, the basic premise is sound so let's toss more resources into the thing until it works!"

That means that somehow, someway, WE foot the bill and at the end of the day they'll take bankrupting us if they can't flat out disarm us.

Mayors Against Guns: Number 8 Bites The Dust

David from The War on Guns hit the nail on the head.

Those wishing to deprive us of our rights do so in part because they themselves cannot be trusted, and they damned well know it.

"The mayor of Racine, Wis. (pervert named Gary Becker...and but of course a Dumocrap) , resigned on Tuesday, days after being accused of trying to arrange a sexual encounter with someone he thought was an underage girl."

Doesn't appear to be any truth to the rumor that he is also to be charged with assault with a dead weapon.

Fantasia

Since the single most unimaginable thing has already happened...namely Obo becoming President, let's talk about oh, maybe #2...

1836. Texas. The Alamo.

You've just invented a time machine. Your desire is to enter the past, right before Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna sets up for the kill.

You can bring any number of modern weapon systems with you. No tanks, or Bradley's, let's stick to shoulder-weapons.

So what exactly DO you take back for the guys? What would definitely make a difference? A reverse Deguello if you will.

Ramos & Compean Catch A Break

"On his last full day in office, President Bush commuted the controversial sentences of two former Border Patrol agents convicted of shooting a Mexican drug runner in 2005.

The imprisonment of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean had sparked outcry from critics who said the men were just doing their jobs and were punished too harshly. They had been sentenced to 11- and 12-year sentences, respectively.

Their sentences will now expire on March 20 of this year."

This is still a tough one for me. Always is when those sworn to uphold the law break it. Yes, the drug dealer in question was and remains a scumbag, yes, the DA went after them with a vengeance, but if it was you or me in the same spot we'd probably never see the light of day again.

The CEO Mentality...Jughead Gets His Coming-Out Party

We're going to spend over $150 million smackeroonies to throw this jug eared nobody the bash of his life during lean times. Sure we're dumbasses for allowing such goings-on, but who, in their right mind, would ASK for such largess?

Thieves. Scoundrels. Politicians. But I repeat myself.

I guess that's what he meant by CHANGE. Business as usual but this time around we're gonna learn to like it.

How absolutely wonderful would it have been for him to say, "hey look, guys and gals, the country is going through some nasty stuff, so let's do this low-key."

I'd have done a double-take for sure and maybe even believed some of the things he says.

MONEY. WHERE. MOUTH IS.

Anything else is bullshit and he's proven to be laden with it to excess.

Plaxico Burress Part Ad Nauseum

"Plaxico Burress' Florida license that covered a rifle and an old, inoperable handgun was seized last month from his Totowa, NJ, home - but he's hoping the permit will stave off new gun charges even though it has expired, a source involved with the case said yesterday.

The license expired because Burress had failed to inform Florida authorities he was moving and the state sent the renewal forms to his old address, the source said.

"If you have a license and it's expired and not because of any misconduct on the part of the licensee, they typically don't charge you" with weapon possession, the source said.

Burress is already facing gun-possession charges for accidentally shooting himself in the leg at a Manhattan nightclub over the Thanksgiving weekend"

This is not news. This is inaccurate guesswork typical of modern journalism. There is no license necessary for a Floridian to own a rifle or handgun. Buy all you want, carry them in your personal vehicle even. Just don't tote a concealed handgun around because that's what the licensing system is all about. It's called a CWP, Concealed Weapon Permit. Since Florida has NO reciprocity with New York...no one does, not a city or state because NY does not recognize concealed firearm licensing from anywhere in the universe outside its own environs...having a CWP means less than nothing to the powers that be who run Moscow on the Hudson.

Yes, Florida usually does look the other way if one lets his or her CWP expire. Move all you want, too, just go online and fill out the cyber paperwork, don't even have to have a new CWP sent to the new address as long as you've notified them.

But again, this means NOTHING to NYC. All Burress had to do was fork over the several thousand dollars necessary for an attorney to wade through the mountains of paperwork, and because he's a celebrity he'd have walked away from the process with a NY carry permit, but he didn't even do THAT, and this is what the fuss is all about. The licensing fees. Available for SPECIAL PERSONS. He fits that criteria to a T, but tried to act like a SPECIAL PERSON without paying for it.

R.I.P. Secret Agent Man

Patrick McGoohan has died in California at the age of 80. The NYC born actor also wrote, directed, and starred in The Prisoner. A husband of 57 years, he was a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Truly, the poster child for the unique individual of days gone by.

Save us a seat, Fitz.*

*Paddy Fitz. One of the pseudonyms McGoohan used when writing.

"If I say it's safe to surf this beach then it's safe to surf this beach!"

One of the few moments from Apocalypse Now that rang a bell with me.

Oh yeah, and can you spot R. Lee Ermey?

Dangerous Victims?

"I recall a friend describing a brief time when he worked in a liquor store. It was the only one in the area that had never been robbed. The store owner had a policy that anyone working there had to have a gun and carry it openly."

But...but...but...

I thought that open-carry means you'll be the first one capped if a bad guy enters the town, city, state, or planet where you live!

Willickers, but that's what the online experts are sayin'.

Thanks to The Smallest Minority where you can then link to Hecate's Crossroad to read the whole thang.

"...The man was not arrested, but the guns were confiscated..."

Huh?

Question: How can you confiscate firearms from someone breaking no law?

Answer: CALIFORNIA

Another Man Brings Guns to LAX

"A second unrelated incident occurred Saturday morning when a man entered the airport to pick up his wife, according to LAX officials Police searched his vehicle and found two unregistered and unloaded shotguns (12-gauge and 20-gauge) as well as about 220 rounds of ammunition. The man told officers he recently went to a shooting range to fire the guns and forgot they were in his vehicle. The man was not arrested, but the guns were confiscated and he risks possible prosecution down the line. His name could also become part of a federal "watch list" database of sorts.

“While these are infrequent occurrences, it points to the success of the overall 'net of security' measures used by local, state and federal law enforcement at LAX---a process that actually begins before one enters the airport area,” said Sgt James Holcomb of the Los Angeles Airport Police"

Federal "watch list". Database. Of sorts.

So, when exactly is that mother-of-all-quakes supposed to hit?

"...That Kind Of People..."

“I'm worried about all weapons because I don't want to attract the kind of people who want to buy them into the community,”

Ah, Minnesota. Land of frigid liberals and towns that don't like pawn shops because they...gasp...sell guns, too, and gee willickers but you know who buys guns, don'tcha?

Ann Coulter On: MURDER SPREE BY PEOPLE WHO REFUSE TO ASK FOR DIRECTIONS

"In a front-page article on Jan. 2 of this year, The New York Times took a brief respite from its ongoing canonization of Barack Obama and returned to its series on violent crimes committed by returning GIs, or as I call it: "U.S. Military, Psycho Killers."

The Treason Times' banner series about Iraq and Afghanistan veterans accused of murder began in January last year but was quickly discontinued as readers noticed that the Times doggedly refused to provide any statistics comparing veteran murders with murders in any other group.

So they waited a year, hoping readers wouldn't notice they were still including no relevant comparisons."

Ann goes on to provide some genuine stats of her own...namely the absolute societal destruction single-motherhood has wrought upon the nation, and the irrefutable FACT that members of the armed services commit far LESS violent crimes than their counterparts...young males...in the hood.

But we already knew that, now didn't we?

For those confused, or flat out unbelieving that crime is FAR more rampant in big cities than Army bases, let's try to make it simple for even liberals to understand.

Request permission, then pitch a tent in the middle of an Army base, while an identical group of folks pitch the same sort of wigwam in the South side of Chicago.

Spend the night.

From which do survivors greet the morning?

Gee, that's a tough one isn't it...

Man Shoots Toilet After Gun in His Pants GOES OFF*

And no...he wasn't a cop...

CENTERVILLE, Utah — "The man escaped with a few cuts to his arm, but the toilet made out much worse.

Police say a man's gun fell out of its holster while he pulled up his pants after using the bathroom at a Carl's Jr. restaurant Tuesday. The gun fired when it hit the floor and shattered the commode.

A few shards of porcelain cut the man's arm, and a woman in an adjacent restroom who was frightened by the noise reported she was having chest pain. Both people were checked at the scene and released.

Police say they confiscated the 26-year-old man's firearm while they review the incident. The man had a concealed weapons permit. No charges are being filed."

No charges, BUT...

...the brownshirts illegally confiscate the guy's gun, because there's always a chance that he'll not make a fuss and let them keep the thing. Goes something like this; every time he calls they inform him that the prosecutor's office is still looking into the matter. Rather than continuing to remind them of his mistake, he fades into the woodwork. Then the senior ranking fuzzbucket gets himself a free new firearm.

Happens all the time.

How NOT To Hunt Lion

Customer Saves Clerk...UPDATE

Here's the grainy and jumpy video from The Orlando Sentinel.

Remember it the next time someone...usually the same someone who can't shoot for shit and needs to "fight his way to his real gun, a rifle", babbles about how weak and puny handguns are.

The would-be robber went down like a ton of bricks. Handgun used: Glock 23, .40 cal. No one seems to be returning my calls as to what ammo was used. All in all, some fine shooting.

FYI: Barnes Expander

Cheaper Than Dirt
has the Barnes Expander .357 Magnum ammo back in stock @ $33.89 per 20-round box.

With regards to popular handgun munitions, these and .40 caliber 180 grain Federal HST's were all I ever found to absolutely stop a 200-300 pound hog. And, or so they tell me, as hogs go...all things being equal...so do humans.

For whatever reason, and this isn't a caliber war cuz I still love the old 1911, .45 ACP is slightly better than tossing rocks but not by all that much.

There are a plethora of .44 Magnum rounds that will drop a hog in his tracks, actually pretty much anything OTHER than the old Remington soft points, but I test what I carry then pass along the info as a heads-up and nothing more.

Seemed a tad, tad-and-a-half more reliable than shooting gello then extrapolating what a bullet might or might not do to a gremlin.

Not fer nothin', no ads, beholdin' to none, footloose and fancy free. YMMV.

Men Sought After Customer Saves Clerk From Robber

In Florida, you see, anyone can use deadly force to respond to a felony in progress, and many do precisely that. Which is one of the reasons cops, politicians, and other villains, thieves and scoundrels don't like it. Competition, and chlorinating the gene pool of a certain voting block drives 'em to distraction.

OCOEE, Fla. - "A convenience store customer in Ocoee turned the tables on suspected robbers Monday night, and authorities continued to search for two people Tuesday evening.

Authorities said the man grabbed a gun and shot and killed the bottle-wielding bandit.

The customer, who was only identified as Chris to protect his identity, said he walked into a Kangaroo convenience store on Franklin Street and noticed at least two suspicious men.

The customer said he walked out to his car to get his phone and heard the clerk inside screaming for help. He said he grabbed his gun and went back inside and saw the suspected robber beating a female clerk with a beer bottle.

The customer said he told the assailant he had a gun, but the man turned toward him and the customer fired two shots, killing the suspect.

"I feel very shaken. I feel very glad that I was here, that I could help my friend because I come to this store. I've lived in Ocoee for 20 years, and I'm glad I could be here, and I'm glad I was able to help," the customer said.

The customer was asked whether he had a permit to carry a concealed weapon, and he responded that he did.

Chris said he doesn't consider himself him a hero.

"I saw a lady that was in distress and I came in and took the action that I thought was necessary," he said. "Hearing a lady scream to where it sounds like bloody murder to where I thought she was going to be killed, I decided to help the lady. I've known her for years. She's a friend of mine, and I wanted to go in and help."

Investigators said the one suspect shot was killed, and two other people are sought in the case. Police identified the deceased as Freddie Carson, 40, of Orlando."

So join me, please, in a standing ovation for Chris.

See Ya'll After THE Game: AKA The BCS Championship Bowl

Florida versus Oklahoma.

Fits Fearless Forecast Finds Florida Favored

Florida has the slightly better real-world offense, so give them a 5 compared to Oklahoma's 4.

The Florida defense is also better, along the order of a 5 to 3.

Special teams are a blowout in Florida's favor. 5 to 2.

Add the point scores then double. Florida wins 30-9.

BUT

I'm not an Urbanite. Something about the guy just doesn't ring true for me. This is particularly important in college sports where the kids turn to their father figure for just about everything. If he doesn't get them ready to play, they simply won't do it on their own.

On talent and near homefield advantage, the Gators should win this one going away. Their special teams alone are good for 10 points and Oklahoma isn't as fast on offense or defense.

But that damned emotionless coach....

UPDATE

BOTH teams showed the rust from sitting on their collective arses for a month, but at the end of the day the Florida defense...and the offenses 249 rushing yards...overcame a sloppily officiated game to bring a 24-14 victory back to Gainesville.

Does Nominee For Attorney General Eric Holder Believe In ANYTHING Even Remotely Along The Lines Of The American Experience?

Nope. Not really. The guy's a poster child for socialism and anti-liberty. Hates guns, wants to regulate internet speech, is all for a fairness doctrine to silence Conservative opinions.

Just like his boss-to-be, Obo The Nation Breaker.

JR at A Keyboard and a .45 has the skinny as to whom should be contacted in order to oppose this detweiller, and David Codrea's latest Gun Rights Examiner tackles the topic as well. Yes, I've contacted the Senate Judiciary Committee, and by following the above links you can too. Either we win, or we turn up the heat, time after time, until the kitchen gets REALLY, REALLY hot for these cowards.

Beats bending over and praying for a reach-around.

Shit For Brains Hussein Worried About His Little Terror Pals Getting Their Collective Asses Kicked...

"President-elect Barack Obama said Tuesday he is "very concerned" about the loss of life in Israel and Gaza and is closely monitoring the situation, but he once again deferred to President Bush on the matter, saying when it comes to foreign policy the U.S. has just one president at a time."

So where was this terrorist loving son of a bitch when Israel was getting pummeled by these chimps masquerading as men?

Let's face it; the Jews have got to bomb and KEEP bombing these moslem scumdogs because when chicken-heart sits his lame ass down in the Oval Office he'll be calling for a quick ceasefire so that the terror gangs can flee to safety.

Liberals ADORE terrorists, and the kingshit liberal in charge is soiling his trousers with thoughts of his little pets being cut down, so c'mon Israel!

Gun Sales, The Economy, And Handling The Handouts When There's Less To Give Away

"More and more Americans are becoming increasingly aware of the storm that is brewing on the horizon, a storm driven by the possibility of a complete economic collapse.

The more astute are reading the handwriting on the wall: military combat units being assigned for stateside duty to quell domestic disturbances, a militarization of law enforcement, and the fear of what will happen when the state is no longer able to provide monthly checks to the millions currently living on government handouts labeled as "entitlements."

A strong possibility exists, when the checks stop, those who no longer have will seek to forcibly take from those who do. The scenes from New Orleans after Katrina have not disappeared from the public memory.

Regardless, legislation has been pre-planned and is now in place to be implemented just as soon as we have another tragedy involving a criminal idiot with guns.

Most are unaware that Congressional representative, Carolyn McCarthy from New York, introduced H.R. 1022 in February 2007. This draconian, unconstitutional piece of socialist baloney would ban a multitude of firearms currently available, including the Ruger 10/22, one of the most popular .22 caliber rifles on the market. .22 caliber rifles are commonly used for small game hunting, plinking and target practice; none are in use either in the military or law enforcement as the caliber is considered too small and underpowered for use on targets larger than small game or predators; a fact that somehow escaped the intelligence of Ms. McCarthy. Proof positive that politicians don’t really care what type of weapon you have; it is the simple fact they do not want you to have any weapon at all.

Representative McCarthy’s husband Dennis was shot and killed by Colin Ferguson on the Long Island Railroad in December of 1993. Her son, Kevin, was also seriously injured.

The logic that has escaped Ms. McCarthy is: if her husband had possessed a weapon, he could have possibly saved his life and the lives of others that fateful day. Instead, those who were prohibited by the laws of the state from protecting themselves were hopelessly slaughtered and maimed by a madman who cared not about those laws, and thanks to the liberal laws of New York, is still breathing good air.

Ms. McCarthy won election to congress based on her anti-gun position. Ironic, is it not, that one can be elected to congress by proposing laws contrary to the constitution and then take an oath pledging to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic…"

McCarthy reportedly was inspired to run for congress because her predecessor, Congressman Dan Frisa, supported the Constitution and voted against an assault weapons bill. Leave it up to New Yorkers to defeat those who support the constitution and elect those who seek to destroy it.

Comrade McCarthy displayed her true colors when she filed a lawsuit against the Olin Corporation, makers of the ammunition used by Ferguson, but never filed suit against Ferguson himself. Obviously, McCarthy sought to profit from the death of her husband and the injuries to her son by accusing the manufacturers of an inanimate object of the crimes. Of course the company who manufactured this inanimate object had much "deeper pockets" than Mr. Ferguson, the person who actually loaded the ammunition into a firearm and pulled the trigger, killing six people and wounding nineteen. Thank goodness her frivolous lawsuit failed.

Americans are purchasing firearms and ammunition in record numbers, not because they believe 2009 will offer unusually good duck hunting, but because they fear the fallout from the coming economic storm and the state’s reaction to that fallout.

First off, there's plenty of cash around, lots being spent with lots more on the horizon, but what's scaring economists is the lack of investment monies. So any talk of "collapse" is nothing more than the uber-capitalists amongst us begging for our money so that they can make lots more loaning it out.

The economy was supposed to correct itself if and when things got out of hand and...lo and behold...golly gee but it did just that.

The silver lining is in folks spending at a record pace to keep up with the caliber of those who've ALWAYS been ready should the shit hit the fan. In this instance that means the government going apeshit because their pets can't pay the cable bill on time, because even the government isn't dumb enough to believe that these parasites will take out library cards instead.

WE worry that one of the most liberal asswipes on the planet was elected President-In-Training and a great many gun owners are adding to their collection should Hussein find the stones to actually get behind a full fledged gun grab.

Call me Pollyanna, but the only dark cloud on the horizin with regards to the economy is how long it'll take for so basically healthy a system to right itself. The DEPRESSION saw soup lines. The CORRECTION is seeing the third car that's the family junker being fixed rather than trading it in for a better beater.

But back to guns. Does Hussein have what it takes to back a new AWB? Does it matter, since he's nothing more than a propped-up nobody parroting his masters wishes?

I don't think they'll come at us with a frontal attack. Erosion, yes. More laws, more forms, more waiting. Once we become accustomed...so they think...to the new sheriff in town, we'll be ripe for the plucking. This is why we can't settle for a "victory" just because they didn't rape us without the benefit of a reach around.

So very much on Obo's plate. And as long as we remain aware, he just might pay more attention to those unpaid cable bills.

The Day The Constitution Stood Still...

"People of Pennsylvania, ATTENTION...People of Pennsylvania, ATTENTION"

Because of county personnel cuts, the Luzerne County Sheriff’s Department will not accept gun permit applications for two weeks.

Luzerne barrata nicto*

Well golly now. If they can suspend the Bill of Rights at their leisure, what's next?

Some judges will be on vacation, so during the second week in July the cops won't need search warrants if they decide to barge right on in?

David Codrea gives this the once-over at Gun Rights Examiner and you should too.
