Doctors Remove 4-Pound Tumor From Woman's Mouth

OCALA, Fla.  —  A Haitian woman who traveled to Florida to have a massive tumor removed from her mouth is on her way home.
Thirty-eight-year-old Lorette Pierre travels back to Haiti on Monday and will see her husband and six children for the first time since March.

Pierre had a four-pound tumor jutting from her mouth that made eating and breathing nearly impossible. Doctors at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach were able to remove the tumor and reconstruct her lower jaw.

She's now showing off a smile that hasn't been seen for years.

Picture Credits: Taken before Miss Pierre's operation. A hospital spokesperson offered that no new photographs of Lorette are available, but they hope to soon remedy that by posting contrasting shots of how the brave lady went from horrifically ugly...as can easily be seen in the pic below... to what they've described as quite attractive.
